Supply Planner – Inventory & Vendor Management

About the role

The Supply Planner will own the inventory for an assigned commodity, ensuring timely deliveries from vendors and supporting the broader supply chain team. This role combines purchase order management, vendor coordination, and data maintenance to drive on‑time performance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all inventory for the assigned commodity and take corrective actions when needed.
• Create, place, and follow up on purchase orders for all vendors.
• Maintain regular communication with vendors to guarantee on‑time deliveries.
• Track and report monthly Supplier On‑Time Delivery results.
• Collaborate with Procurement and vendors on continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies identified by Finance.
• Notify the Traffic team of pick‑up schedules at vendor facilities and monitor execution.
• Support quality team during DMRs (Deviation Management Reviews).
• Keep master data for purchased parts up‑to‑date.
• Escalate critical issues with Procurement and assist the Supply Chain leader in KPI reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Logistics, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar supply planning or inventory management role.
• Strong communication and project‑management abilities.
• Fluent English.
