Support Engineer

About the role

Qualcomm is seeking a Support Engineer to contribute to product improvement and sustain the development life‑cycle of its semiconductor solutions. You will work closely with engineering teams to resolve technical issues, enhance reliability, and support product deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Perform low‑level debugging, development, and test support for hardware and software components.
• Execute modifications and revisions of electronic parts, circuitry, and firmware.
• Provide layout and design assistance for small projects and recommend improvements.
• Install, upgrade, configure, and operate company products according to specifications and reliability standards.
• Monitor product performance, analyze failures, and generate corrective actions.
• Gather and integrate data from multiple stakeholders to understand requirements and execute tasks.
• Collaborate across teams to meet project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with 1+ year of support engineering experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Associate’s degree with 2+ years or high‑school diploma with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Advanced degree may substitute for up to one year of experience.
• Preferred: degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or related field; certifications in electronics; military experience (E5+ 1 year).
• 3+ years of digital hardware, software, and/or analog RF troubleshooting and lab experience.
• Leadership experience (1+ year) and interaction with senior leadership.
