Tax Advisor – Mexico

About the role

Charger Logistics is seeking a Mexico Tax Advisor to join its Finance Team. You will support corporate tax compliance, manage interactions with Mexican tax authorities, and handle various tax filings for the company’s operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file corporate tax returns and ensure compliance with SAT regulations.
• Manage SAT portal access and coordinate with government entities.
• Conduct basic to intermediate tax research specific to Mexico.
• Collaborate with the Accounting team on inter‑company tax matters.
• Assist the Tax Manager with tax elections, consulting projects, and transaction reviews.
• Prepare monthly PST, QST and HST returns and handle correspondence with CRA and Mexican tax authorities.
• Provide tax inputs for forecasts, budgets and financial statement analysis.
• Support tax audits for foreign subsidiaries and implement internal tax controls.
• Lead due‑diligence projects to identify potential tax liabilities.

Required profile

• Experience managing SAT portals and Mexican tax compliance.
• Strong analytical skills for tax research and reporting.
• Ability to work closely with accounting and finance teams.
• Detail‑oriented with good written communication for memos and correspondence.
