Technical Project Manager

About the role

EPAM is seeking a seasoned Technical Project Manager to lead coordination between internal engine teams and external vendor partners on C++ and Unreal Engine based game projects. Based in LATAM, the role will serve as the central hub ensuring technical alignment, build stability and timely delivery across distributed studios.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact between internal engine teams and external vendor C++ teams.
• Ensure alignment on coding standards, integration practices and technical expectations.
• Coordinate with infrastructure and pipeline stakeholders to define scalable workflows for vendor contributions.
• Maintain documentation and visibility of technical processes, workflows and dependencies.
• Identify cross‑team dependencies and drive resolution of blockers affecting delivery.
• Provide required builds, tools and infrastructure updates to vendors in a timely manner.
• Monitor engine development activities and vendor deliverables against agreed plans and milestones.
• Refine how vendor code and assets are received, validated and integrated into the main pipeline.
• Contribute to reducing technical debt and enforcing project standards throughout the development lifecycle.
• Communicate progress, risks and issues to stakeholders in a clear, structured manner.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent qualification.
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Minimum 2 years in lead, manager, architect or coordinator roles.
• Experience leading a team of five or more employees.
• Participation in at least two full‑cycle projects or involvement across several project phases.
• Strong understanding of the C++ development lifecycle and build systems.
