Travel Consultant – Advanced English – Hybrid (Mexico)

About the role

This position is a frontline travel consultant role in a high‑volume contact centre, supporting American Express Premium Card members in the United States. The role is hybrid, based in Mexico, and includes intensive paid training and a mentorship programme.

Key responsibilities

• Provide world‑class inbound customer service for premium card members.
• Create new travel bookings and manage existing reservations for domestic and international flights, hotels, and car rentals.
• Consult with members to understand travel needs and deliver personalized experiences.
• Communicate product offerings and value propositions aligned with the Membership First™ approach.
• Maintain accurate records using company computer systems and adhere to service quality standards.

Required profile

• Fluent written and spoken English; all interactions conducted in English.
• Experience in high‑volume call‑center or premium customer‑service roles within travel, tourism, or cruise sectors.
• Basic geography knowledge of continents, countries and key travel destinations.
• Positive attitude, resilience, and willingness to work nights and weekends.
• Strong active‑listening and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
