Account Manager I - HVAC Business

About the role

Regal Rexnord is hiring an Account Manager I for a fully onsite role at its designated office. You will act as the primary contact for customers, developing new business and maintaining current business with new and existing customers. The position is based in Santa Catarina.

Key responsibilities

• Visit customers regularly and communicate with them at all levels so their needs are understood and addressed.
• Develop new business with new and current customers through strong relationships while improving the customer experience.
• Review technical requirements for new products to ensure proper mechanical and electrical fit to the application.
• Link with the internal engineering team for new products, changes to existing products, failure corrections and processing of customer technical data.
• Keep customers informed about the latest Regal product offerings.
• Identify opportunities to increase customer profitability and drive company revenue.
• Follow up with contacts on quality issues, field service issues, late payments, customer training, forecasts and overall customer reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (electrical or mechanical preferred), Business Administration, International Commerce or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in HVAC business.
• Proven experience in sales or commercial roles in Latin America, including aftermarket and OEM customers.
• Bilingual and able to travel 50% of the time.
• Self-motivated, able to stay calm under pressure, multitask and handle several accounts at once.

Required skills

• Comprehensive knowledge of Incoterms and sales terminology.
• Technical knowledge of the product and ability to link with engineering teams.
• Strong interpersonal and listening skills, conflict management and negotiation.
