Advanced Software Engineer I – Display

About the role

We are looking for an Advanced Software Engineer I specialized in display driver development to join our embedded systems team in Guadalajara. You will work on Linux, Android and QNX based devices, contributing to automotive infotainment solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design software components using UML.
• Develop, integrate and test device drivers for Linux, Android and QNX platforms.
• Use lab equipment (logic analyzer, oscilloscope, remote power supplies) to diagnose and debug display issues.
• Perform unit and module level testing, including test development with GTest.
• Build and release software following ASPICE‑compliant processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics or Communication.
• 3+ years of experience in embedded software development.
• Proficient in English (read, write, speak).
• Strong logical and analytical problem‑solving abilities.
• Solid C and C++ programming skills with OOP concepts.
• Experience with Linux/Android/QNX driver development and debugging.
• Familiarity with serial interfaces such as I2S, I2C, SPI, LVDS.
• Hands‑on use of lab equipment for hardware validation.
• Knowledge of GIT, GERRIT and agile methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban).
