Benefits Associate

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Benefits Associate to join its Employee Benefits team in Mexico City. The role provides Tier‑1 support for colleague benefits inquiries and handles day‑to‑day benefits administration in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for Tier‑1 benefits questions and routine issue resolution through the HR Service Center.
• Process enrollments, changes, terminations, and life‑event updates in accordance with established procedures.
• Coordinate benefit‑related data updates with payroll, external vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Support claim administration and gather necessary documentation for submissions.
• Perform reconciliation tasks including colleague census, eligibility, pension contributions, invoices, and premium reviews.
• Escalate complex cases, exceptions, and plan interpretation questions to senior team members or the Global Benefits COE.

Required profile

• Experience handling Tier‑1 employee benefits inquiries.
• Familiarity with benefits enrollment and administration processes.
• Ability to coordinate with payroll, vendors, and internal teams.
• Strong attention to detail for reconciliation and financial administration.
