Business Development Manager – Market Intelligence

About the role

ICIS is looking for a Business Development Manager to join its Sales team in Mexico City. In this individual‑contributor position you will drive new‑business growth for petrochemical, energy and commodity market‑intelligence solutions across Latin America, building strong relationships with prospective customers and guiding them through the sales cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect, qualify and build a pipeline through lead generation, cold calling and outbound sales activities.
• Identify and engage C‑suite and other key decision‑makers to uncover business challenges and propose value‑based solutions.
• Develop a systematic approach to convert leads into qualified opportunities and revenue‑generating accounts.
• Maintain high‑volume, high‑quality engagement via phone, email, social media and onsite meetings.
• Partner with Account Managers and collaborate with local and global business functions to support growth and cross‑sell initiatives.
• Apply a structured sales methodology, demonstrating curiosity, active listening and strong discovery skills.
