Carrier Management Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a results‑oriented Carrier Management Specialist to manage and optimise space agreements with shipping lines, ensuring maximum utilisation of our capacity and supporting the strategic growth of the business.

Key responsibilities

• Manage regional and country bookings using tools such as Virtual Carrier and OPTIM.
• Administer and monitor allocations in Trade Lanes TPEB, aligned with FAK, NVOCC and NAC basket contracts.
• Develop and maintain up‑to‑date allocation cards.
• Monitor daily allocation versus booking compliance.
• Coordinate with sales teams and global offices to define load priorities.
• Communicate space agreements with carriers and escalate disputes or arbitration needs.
• Support carrier communication when agreements are not met.
• Generate daily performance and compliance reports.
• Maintain continuous communication with key stakeholders and leadership.
• Collect and share market intelligence while following SOP processes to ensure efficiency and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in sea freight or international logistics.
• Advanced or intermediate proficiency in Excel and operational tools.
• Experience executing complex operational processes.
• Strong communication and influencing abilities.
• Advanced English for frequent interaction with global teams.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Analytical, data‑driven mindset with quick decision‑making skills.
• Excellent cross‑functional coordination and continuous‑improvement focus.
