Clinical Data Science Lead

About the role

ICON Strategic Solutions is hiring a Clinical Data Science Lead in Mexico City, working in a sponsor-dedicated model supported by ICON's global expertise. The Lead drives data science initiatives within clinical trials so that analyses provide meaningful insights for strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day clinical data science activities and support the team to deliver quality outcomes.
• Lead the design and implementation of data science strategies to improve clinical trial data analysis.
• Work with cross-functional teams to identify key data requirements and analytical needs.
• Oversee the development of statistical models and analytical tools to optimise data interpretation.
• Mentor team members in best practices for data analysis and visualisation.
• Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders through presentations and reports, influencing project direction.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, computer science or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience in data analysis and project leadership within a clinical research setting.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and develop a team.
• Willingness to travel as required (approximately 15%).
• Legal right to work in the country where the role is based.
