Cloud Security Engineer

About the role

Blue Trail Software is looking for a Cloud Security Engineer to protect our cloud‑based applications and infrastructure. You will work closely with development and operations teams to detect threats, remediate vulnerabilities, and enforce security best practices across AWS, Azure and GCP environments.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor for security threats, investigate incidents and lead response actions.
• Manage application vulnerability remediation using Snyk and coordinate with development teams.
• Administer Cloudflare WAF and handle firewall rule updates.
• Automate security tasks with Python, Bash or PowerShell scripts.
• Secure cloud environments (AWS mandatory, Azure/GCP a plus) and resolve misconfigurations identified by Cloudstrike.
• Design and implement access‑control frameworks (RBAC, ABAC, Zero Trust).
• Develop and maintain security controls for SaaS applications and ensure compliance with PCI, SOC 2, NIST and CIS benchmarks.
• Create automated monitoring, compliance and incident‑response tooling.
• Provide security awareness training to internal teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in cloud security or related fields.
• Hands‑on experience with Cloudflare WAF and AWS security services.
• Familiarity with Cloudstrike for misconfiguration detection.
• Advanced English proficiency (C1 level).
