Cyber Security Analyst (Remote or Mexico Offices)

About the role

The Cyber Security Analyst will support the Information Technology Department by protecting a complex network environment. The role can be performed remotely or from any of our offices in Mexico and involves monitoring, responding to, and preventing security threats.

Key responsibilities

• Continuously monitor security alerts from multiple tools and platforms.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents, perform initial triage and document findings.
• Manage annual incident‑response testing and basic threat analysis.
• Configure, tune, and maintain security tools and systems.
• Identify, assess, and prioritize vulnerabilities; assist with remediation.
• Maintain security documentation, policies, procedures, and incident reports.
• Develop and deliver cybersecurity awareness training.
• Support compliance with frameworks such as PCI and NIST.
• Maintain disaster‑recovery strategies, backup plans, and patch management.
• Monitor and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus/endpoint protection, SIEM, VPN, email security, IAM, and centralized log management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 2 years of progressive IT experience with a focus on cybersecurity.
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., GIAC, CISSP, CISM) are preferred.
