Cyber Security Engineer – Training & Technical Advisor

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Cyber Security Subject Matter Expert to design and deliver intensive training programs and provide Tier‑3 technical support to our consulting workforce. The role blends curriculum development, pre‑placement coaching, and on‑site escalation assistance to ensure consultants succeed with client projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver hands‑on training covering enterprise security frameworks, cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP), SIEM tools and vulnerability management.
• Coach consultants preparing for client interviews through technical mock sessions and architecture reviews.
• Act as the internal escalation point for deployed consultants, diagnosing and resolving high‑impact security blockers.
• Establish objective technical benchmarks and assessment matrices to certify readiness for client deployment.
• Continuously update training environments and toolsets based on emerging threats and regulatory changes.

Required profile

• 8+ years of hands‑on cyber security experience (security architecture, SOC engineering, penetration testing, incident response).
• Must hold a CISSP certification; additional credentials such as CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or cloud‑specific security certifications are highly preferred.
• Proven track record of training, mentoring or upskilling technical personnel.
• Deep expertise in firewalls, network topology, IAM, encryption standards and enterprise security operations tools.
• Strong knowledge of securing public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Excellent problem‑solving skills under pressure and ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.
