About the role

The Director of Finance will lead the Finance & Accounting Division at Hyatt Regency Merida, ensuring operations align with Hyatt International’s corporate strategies and brand standards. This senior position is responsible for delivering financial excellence while supporting the expectations of employees, guests, and owners. The role reports to senior hotel leadership and collaborates closely with operational teams.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the efficient running of the finance division in line with corporate strategies and brand standards.
• Maintain high standards of financial management across all accounting activities.
• Ensure smooth and efficient operation of the Finance & Accounting Division.
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
• Meet the financial expectations of employees, guests, and owners.

Required profile

• University degree or diploma in Finance or Hospitality/Tourism management.
• Chartered Accountant (CA) certification is an advantage.
• Minimum two years experience as a Director of Finance or Finance Manager in a larger operation.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and financial reporting.
• Strong problem‑solving, administrative and interpersonal abilities.
