Director of Procurement – Lead Global Supply Chain

About the role

Pacific International is partnering with a leading semiconductor manufacturer to find a strategic Director of Procurement. Based in Mexico, you will shape global supply chain strategy, standardise best practices and build scalable capabilities that drive efficiency, resilience and performance across the Americas.

Key responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of global supply chain strategies for the Americas.
• Establish and govern best‑practice processes, performance standards and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Champion digital transformation, advanced analytics and ERP optimisation.
• Build and lead high‑performing, globally distributed procurement teams.
• Collaborate with regional leaders to ensure alignment, scalability and operational excellence.
• Manage up to 20% travel to support site and stakeholder engagements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 10+ years of procurement or supply‑chain experience in advanced manufacturing or complex industrial environments.
• Proven leadership in global supply‑chain or operations functions.
• Fluent in English and Spanish with strong stakeholder‑management and communication skills.
