Financial Analyst – Operational Accounting & Reporting

About the role

Intuitive is seeking a Financial Analyst to support operational accounting and financial reporting across its global operations. The analyst will work closely with corporate accounting and FP&A teams to ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls while driving process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage monthly and quarterly close processes for operational accounting, ensuring internal controls are met.
• Collaborate with corporate accounting and global FP&A partners to align reporting.
• Identify and implement process improvements through standardization and automation.
• Document operational accounting procedures, SOPs, and desktop guides.
• Analyze results, monitor variances, spot trends and recommend actions to management.
• Develop and report key financial metrics, monitoring performance against plan.
• Identify opportunities and risks within financial models.
• Lead or support transversal projects focused on process improvement, reporting tools, and cost efficiency.
• Prioritize stakeholder requests and deliver on expectations.
• Coordinate data and reporting for internal accounting reviews and support finance‑leadership initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 1‑3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
• Fluency in written and spoken Spanish and English.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to extract strategic insights from data analysis.
• Motivation to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience building complex financial models.
• Knowledge of GAAP and internal accounting policies.
