Financial Controller – Remote (Contract)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead our accounting operations and financial reporting on a fully remote basis. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will own the General Ledger, supervise bookkeeping, and drive the transition from outsourced to in‑house finance.

Key responsibilities

• Take full ownership of the General Ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Manage month‑end close, reconciliations, and preparation of monthly financial statements.
• Supervise Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, payroll, and expense processing.
• Monitor cash flow, perform bank reconciliations, and coordinate tax reporting.
• Develop and implement scalable accounting processes and internal controls.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Financial Controller or Senior Accountant with full GL ownership.
• Hands‑on experience managing month‑end close and financial reporting.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, and confidentiality.
• Advanced English proficiency (C1/C2) for professional written and verbal communication.
