About the role

The Expert Purchasing Manager will lead task‑force initiatives at supplier sites in the United States and Mexico, driving the adoption of Bosch methodologies and improving supplier performance across the value chain.

Key responsibilities

• Report to the M/PJ‑PL director and lead task‑force execution at supplier locations.
• Coordinate activities between Purchasing, Business Units and technical functions (PQT/PQA/PMQ) to remove bottlenecks and develop a local supplier base.
• Evaluate supplier performance (OEE, scrap, OTD) on a daily, weekly and monthly basis and define corrective actions with clear timelines.
• Prepare executive summaries for Management and Steering Committees covering KPI trends, risks, delays and corrective actions.
• Facilitate transparent communication with supplier task‑force leaders and internal stakeholders, removing data, logistics or communication barriers.
• Identify, mitigate and track risks, driving decisions to keep initiatives on schedule.
• Travel up to 90 % of the time to supplier sites.

Required profile

• Deep understanding of manufacturing processes and value‑stream analysis.
• Proven project‑management experience with multi‑phase development projects.
• Strong analytical abilities for root‑cause analysis, risk assessment and gap identification.
• Excellent stakeholder‑management and reporting skills, capable of leading cross‑functional meetings.
• Leadership experience in task‑force environments, with high emotional intelligence under pressure.
• Ability to work across cultures in North America and globally.
