HR Manager

About the role

The HR Manager will lead and manage the day‑to‑day Human Resources function at AIM, partnering closely with the Head of School and senior leadership to ensure effective people practices and compliance with local labour requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Head of School and senior leadership, providing HR guidance and aligning HR priorities with school needs.
• Manage the full employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, contracts, performance management, employee relations, development and off‑boarding.
• Coordinate recruitment with the Talent Acquisition team, supporting workforce planning, interviews, offers and onboarding.
• Maintain accurate, confidential employee files and ensure compliance with Mexican legislation and Inspired policies.
• Handle employee relations matters, guiding leaders and employees to resolve workplace issues promptly.
• Support performance management processes, including probation, reviews, improvement plans and development conversations.
• Assist with workforce planning, succession, retention initiatives and organizational changes.
• Coordinate payroll‑related information with Finance/Payroll teams and monitor attendance, absences and leave.
• Promote employee engagement, wellbeing and culture initiatives.
• Prepare HR reports, dashboards and key metrics such as headcount, turnover and absenteeism.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related field.
• Experience as HR Manager, HR Business Partner or HR Generalist handling the full employee lifecycle.
• Strong knowledge of Mexican labour legislation and HR best practices.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills with high discretion.
• Proactive, hands‑on approach with strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
