Human Resources Manager

About the role

The Human Resources Manager will lead all HR functions for a manufacturing facility, ensuring workforce planning, employee engagement and compliance with labor regulations. This role partners with operational leaders to build a positive work environment and support the company’s production goals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute recruitment strategies, manage the full hiring cycle and coordinate onboarding for manufacturing and support positions.
• Foster a positive workplace culture, address employee concerns, and support managers with disciplinary actions and conflict resolution.
• Implement performance management systems, conduct reviews, and monitor productivity and engagement.
• Identify training needs, deliver safety, compliance and leadership programs, and promote continuous skill development.
• Administer compensation structures, benefits programs, payroll coordination and ensure internal equity.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state and local labor laws, update HR policies and keep accurate employee records.
• Collaborate with the safety team to support OSHA requirements, incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Prepare HR analytics and reports on turnover, hiring, absenteeism and workforce trends to inform business decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Proven experience managing HR operations in a plant or production environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HRIS systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
