IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) Integration Developer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) Integration Developer to join our enterprise integration team in Mexico. You will lead the design, development, and deployment of robust integration solutions, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure reliable and scalable connections between mission‑critical business systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy integration flows using IBM ACE 11/12/13.
• Build message flows that leverage MQ, HTTP/REST, SOAP, FTP, JDBC, and Kafka.
• Create supporting microservices with Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Batch when integration logic requires it.
• Develop and document RESTful APIs and Web Services using YAML, Swagger, and OpenAPI.
• Write and optimise complex SQL queries and stored procedures for database interactions.
• Transform data across JSON, XML, and Fixed Length formats within integration pipelines.
• Perform unit, integration, and end‑to‑end testing with RFHUTIL, Postman, and SOAPUI.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and Jenkins following DevOps best practices.
• Participate in SAFe/Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand‑ups.
• Utilise AI‑assisted coding tools like GitHub Copilot or Cursor AI within IntelliJ IDEA or VS Code.
• Collaborate with cloud teams to integrate ACE solutions with AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of IT experience with a strong focus on IBM ACE integration development.
• Proficiency in IBM ACE 11/12/13 and multi‑protocol message flow development.
• Solid Java and Spring Boot skills for microservice development.
• Hands‑on experience designing RESTful APIs and documenting them with YAML/Swagger/OpenAPI.
• Strong SQL expertise, including complex queries and stored procedures.
• Experience with JSON, XML, and Fixed Length data formats.
• Familiarity with testing tools RFHUTIL, Postman, and SOAPUI.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD using GitHub and Jenkins.
• Understanding of at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with AI‑assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot or Cursor AI.
