Industrial Engineer

About the role

Bosch is seeking an Industrial Engineer to lead the development and maintenance of standardized work within the TEF6 production area. The role focuses on time studies, MTM‑1 analysis, line balancing and ergonomics to optimise operator efficiency and product flow.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct time studies and MTM‑1 analyses to establish standard times (VT/TEB) and update SAP via the CAPP tool.
• Create and maintain operator instructions (PQIs), standardized work charts, bottleneck matrices and production routings.
• Design, develop and improve line layouts, acquire necessary accessories and ensure ergonomic compliance (Ergo‑check, IGEL).
• Participate in validation, installation and commissioning of new production lines or equipment following Bosch procedures.
• Drive continuous improvement projects (System CIP) in collaboration with Value Streams and document outcomes.
• Train associates on ergonomics, MTM‑1 and standardized work methods.
• Monitor labor discipline, quality basics and EHS policies as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in industrial engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with Bosch’s production systems and internal procedures.
• Ability to work closely with cross‑functional teams and communicate findings effectively.
