Information Systems Engineer 2

About the role

The Information Systems Engineer 2 designs, develops, and supports critical applications and infrastructure across multiple business functions such as materials, marketing, accounting, and human resources. The role ensures smooth daily operations, monitors system performance, and participates in IT governance meetings.

Key responsibilities

• Design, analyze, test, debug, and implement application programs for various functional areas.
• Install, configure, and support operating systems, database platforms, and utility software.
• Lead analysis of business problems and propose automated solutions.
• Plan, design, acquire, and implement LAN/WAN and telecommunication voice/wire systems.
• Provide escalation support, perform root‑cause analysis, and resolve moderate‑scope issues.
• Install and upgrade applications, software, and hardware; conduct functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Develop scripts, queries, and tools for administration, automation, performance monitoring, disaster recovery, and security initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve moderate‑complexity technical problems.
• Experience acting as an escalation point for technical teams.
• Strong analytical skills to translate business needs into automated solutions.
• Ability to work collaboratively in status and operations meetings.
