IT Engineer – Enterprise Infrastructure

About the role

We are looking for an experienced IT Engineer to support, maintain, and enhance our enterprise IT infrastructure across corporate and manufacturing sites. The role combines hands‑on networking, server management, and virtualization tasks in a fast‑paced automotive and aviation parts environment.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, maintain and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points and IT/OT networking platforms.
• Monitor network performance, capacity and availability to ensure business continuity.
• Develop, document and enforce network policies, standards and procedures across all locations.
• Manage on‑premises Dell server infrastructure and enterprise storage systems.
• Administer virtualization platforms such as Hyper‑V.
• Implement and manage Veeam Backup & Replication for backup and disaster‑recovery readiness.
• Deploy and maintain Fortinet solutions (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer) and manage VPN connectivity and secure remote access.
• Apply network security best practices, including segmentation and monitoring.
• Support integration of legacy manufacturing equipment with modern networking.
• Collaborate with operations teams to keep production networks stable and secure.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field (asset).
• Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP (highly preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of progressive, hands‑on experience in IT infrastructure and networking.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Experience in manufacturing, automotive or aviation sectors.
