Java Jr/Sr Developer

About the role

Accenture is seeking a Java Developer to join its Software Engineering Specialist team on the Next Gen project for a global financial services client. You will design, code, and enhance custom software solutions using modern Java frameworks and agile practices.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java 8‑9 applications, focusing on Spring Boot and Spring Batch components.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align solutions with business objectives.
• Participate in code reviews, version control, and continuous integration using Git, GitHub or Bitbucket.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate with Oracle, MySQL and optionally MongoDB databases.
• Provide technical guidance, mentor team members, and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• 2–15 years of experience in Java development.
• Strong knowledge of Java 8‑9, Spring Boot/Spring Batch, and REST architecture.
• Experience with relational databases (Oracle, MySQL) and familiarity with non‑relational databases (MongoDB) is a plus.
• Proven ability to manage tasks, develop work plans, and communicate effectively within a team.
