Leisure Sales Manager

About the role

The Leisure Sales Manager will drive revenue for Viceroy Los Cabos by actively prospecting, soliciting, and closing accounts within the leisure market segment. This role requires a deep understanding of hotel operations and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of hotel operations, including Food & Beverage, Guest Services, and Reservations.
• Execute a proactive sales solicitation program, initiating and following up on leads.
• Monitor top‑account performance, analyze market trends, and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Invite and host clients for tours, lunches, and site inspections, showcasing property features and benefits.
• Collaborate with the Director of Sales on special promotions, sales blitzes, and reporting requirements.
• Utilize the hotel’s sales management system to enter business, generate reports, block space, and build accounts.
• Participate in required MOD and Saturday office coverage and adhere to sales expense budgets.

Required profile

• College coursework in a related field is helpful.
• Previous experience in a hotel or related hospitality sales environment is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and goals.
