Maintenance Leader

About the role

The Maintenance Leader is responsible for ensuring that manufacturing equipment and facilities operate at peak performance. This position supports production teams by delivering high‑quality maintenance services, driving safety, and promoting continuous improvement across the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a safe work environment, perform housekeeping and waste removal, and adhere to OSHA regulations.
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce waste, rework, and non‑value‑added activities.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve department and site goals, participating in decision‑making and project work.
• Set up, troubleshoot, and execute preventive maintenance on machinery and production equipment.
• Diagnose failures, replace defective components, and perform basic repairs using drawings, manuals, and standard tools.
• Maintain and repair pneumatic tools, motors, conveyor systems, and other mechanical equipment.
• Order replacement parts, keep accurate maintenance logs, and report shift metrics such as downtime and part availability.

Required profile

• Proven experience in industrial maintenance and equipment repair.
• Strong understanding of safety standards and ability to follow preventive‑maintenance schedules.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and manuals.
• Detail‑oriented with good record‑keeping and reporting skills.
