Manager, Market Access Consulting

About the role

The IQVIA Market Access Strategy Consulting team (MASC) is a strategy and analytics division that helps pharmaceutical and biotechnology manufacturers address patient access and affordability challenges, using healthcare data to measure the impact of market access on brand performance. As a new hire, you receive on-the-job training. The Manager leads multiple consulting projects, maintains client relationships, helps write project proposals and manages the work of 5-10 junior colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Lead project teams to plan and manage strategic analyses using IQVIA and external big data assets, deriving trends and recommendations for clients.
• Lead internal brainstorming sessions and coordinate engagement team members.
• Synthesize complex data from secondary sources into actionable results on market, therapeutic, prescriber, patient, payer and competitive questions.
• Lead the design and execution of predictive models for contracting strategies, patient cost and affordability programs, prescriber utilization and brand performance / financial modeling.
• Design, structure and deliver reports, presentations and other client deliverables.
• Build client relationships face-to-face, in workshops, by phone and email, and act as a thought partner to client teams.
• Manage junior team members, oversee engagement work plans, and assist in identifying follow-on work, writing proposals and statements of work.
• Develop knowledge of the healthcare industry and consulting methodologies, and assist with recruiting and interviewing new team members.

Required profile

• 4-6 years of experience in consulting, data analytics or a related area; master's degree a plus.
• Project or team management experience and demonstrated leadership.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, quantitative and organizational skills, and excellent conversational and business English (C1 or C2).
• Willingness or ability to travel 10-25% on average.
