Network Support Engineer – Level 1

About the role

We are looking for a Level 1 Network Support Engineer to provide first‑line technical assistance for our network infrastructure. The role focuses on monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining LAN/WAN, Wi‑Fi, and VPN services to ensure minimal downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 support for network‑related incidents and service requests.
• Monitor network devices, connectivity, and system alerts.
• Troubleshoot basic LAN/WAN, Wi‑Fi, and VPN issues.
• Support installation and configuration of routers, switches, and access points.
• Perform cable connectivity checks and basic network diagnostics.
• Escalate complex issues to Level 2 or senior engineers.
• Assist with hardware replacement and network device setup.
• Maintain incident logs, documentation, and update tickets in the ITSM tool.
• Participate in network upgrades, IMAC activities, and site support tasks.
• Ensure timely response and resolution according to SLA requirements.

Required profile

• Ability to deliver Level 1 network support and follow documented procedures.
• Strong attention to detail for logging incidents and updating tickets.
• Willingness to work within defined SLA timelines.
