On-site IT Support Specialist (Bilingual)

About the role

HCLTech is seeking an experienced on‑site IT Support Specialist to join its Desktop Support team. The role involves providing 24x5 technical assistance across multiple IT locations, handling break‑and‑fix, IMAC/D activities, preventive maintenance, and VIP user support.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver on‑site desktop support for Windows OS, mobile device management, video‑conferencing systems, and L3 applications.
• Perform technical troubleshooting, data gathering and gap analysis for global end‑user issues.
• Maintain consistent processes, procedures and technologies across the enterprise environment.
• Document recurring issues in the knowledge base and update case status in the ITSM system.
• Support meeting‑room equipment, mobile devices, servers, networks, and PC refresh projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or Computer Science preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of combined experience supporting desktop and mobile technologies.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to work independently.
• Experience writing business requirements, process flows, functional specifications and test scripts.

Required skills

• Mobile Device Management (MDM) and mobile web apps, iOS.
• Active Directory administration and infrastructure design.
• Advanced troubleshooting of Windows 10, Windows registry, and Microsoft Office Suite (2010/2016).
• Hardware vs. software issue diagnosis.
• General Mac and networking troubleshooting.
• Microsoft Intune, Office 365, Azure MFA.
• Desktop imaging and printer support.
• Skype/Teams video‑conferencing system support.
