Product Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Product Engineer to support the design, development, validation and continuous improvement of automotive components. The role works closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure products meet customer specifications, quality standards and cost targets throughout the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Support design, development and validation of automotive products and components.
• Review customer specifications, technical requirements and engineering standards.
• Coordinate product launches and implement engineering changes.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation such as drawings, specifications, BOMs and engineering records.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing and Program Management.
• Assist prototype builds, testing activities and product validation.
• Analyze product performance and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Participate in root‑cause analysis, corrective actions and risk assessments (DFMEA, design reviews).
• Ensure compliance with automotive standards, customer requirements and internal procedures.
• Support APQP activities, cost‑reduction and value‑engineering projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Mechatronics or Automotive Engineering or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in automotive product engineering or a Tier‑1 manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience with product development processes and engineering change management.
• Advanced level of English.
