Product Manager – Gas Turbine Applications

About the role

This newly created Product Manager position supports business continuity for the SGT6-5000F and related gas turbine models. Based in the SGT6-5000F Product Management team, the role will oversee product applications, coordinate cross‑functional projects, and provide technical market intelligence.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the product lifecycle for the 5000F, 6000G, 3000E, and 900 turbine series, focusing on new customer applications and service upgrades.
• Define project scope, objectives, and requirements; track KPIs such as market adoption, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
• Develop and maintain the service‑application roadmap, identifying enhancement opportunities.
• Lead cross‑functional teams (engineering, sales, supply chain, service) to ensure timely delivery of product applications.
• Maintain detailed project schedules, resource plans, and budgets while ensuring quality standards.
• Act as central communication hub, providing status updates and facilitating decision‑making.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Maintain expert knowledge of technical specifications and competitive landscape of the turbine platforms.
• Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity to inform product strategy.
• Support sales and field service teams with technical and commercial expertise during proposals and implementations.

Required profile

• Significant experience in product or project management within an industrial or energy sector.
• Strong foundation in project management methodologies.
• Proven ability to influence cross‑functional teams and drive complex projects.
• Capability to analyze technical market data and translate insights into product strategy.
