Product Manager – Gas Turbine Applications

About the role

This newly created Product Manager position supports business continuity for the SGT6-5000F and related gas turbine models. Based in the SGT6-5000F Product Management team, the role oversees new and service applications, coordinates cross‑functional projects, and provides technical market intelligence.

Key responsibilities

• Manage product lifecycle for the 5000F, 6000G, 3000E, and 900 turbine series, defining scope, objectives, and requirements for new applications and service upgrades.
• Track performance indicators such as market adoption, customer satisfaction, and profitability; maintain the product roadmap for service applications.
• Lead cross‑functional project teams (engineering, sales, supply chain, service), develop schedules, resource plans, and budgets, and ensure quality standards.
• Serve as central communication hub, providing status updates and facilitating decision‑making.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Maintain expert knowledge of technical specifications and competitive landscape of the SGT6-5000F platform.
• Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity to shape product strategy.
• Support sales and field service teams with technical and commercial expertise during proposals and implementations.

Required profile

• Significant experience in product or project management within the industrial or energy sector.
• Proven ability to influence cross‑functional teams and manage complex technical projects.
• Strong analytical skills for market and technical data interpretation.
