Project Support Specialist – MCE

About the role

The Project Support Specialist – MCE will support Manufacturing Chief Engineering launch standards for new vehicle models throughout the entire launch process. You will work closely with Corporate Planning, Production Management, Vehicle Process Engineering, and Product Engineering to ensure successful, on‑time, and on‑budget launches.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a cross‑functional team to launch new vehicle OS systems on schedule and within budget.
• Create, track, and maintain resource plans, WBS, and master schedules.
• Monitor budget status, lead steering committee meetings, and escalate issues as needed.
• Develop pilot schedules, conduct daily pilot meetings, and generate progress reports.
• Manage KPI/KAI metrics, PDP timing, and risk escalation.
• Prepare and execute IH reviews, coordinate workshops, and lead issue‑resolution meetings.
• Collaborate with team leads, quality, and engineering to meet station and plant objectives.
• Build relationships with engineering and manufacturing to understand product requirements and build sequences.
• Improve work methods, productivity, quality, and output across functional areas.
• Support the Stellantis Industrial System (SIS) within the Launch domain and WPI.

Required profile

• Engineering Bachelor’s degree (preferred Master’s).
• Advanced level of English.
• 3‑5 years of automotive assembly experience.
• Program management experience or training.
• Strong communication, computer, problem‑solving, and analytical abilities.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to collaborate with all management levels and labor unions.
• Highly motivated self‑starter and change agent.
