Recruiter (Remote, LATAM)

About the role

Viva Talent connects US companies with Executive Assistants and Recruiting Coordinators across Latin America and South Africa, with a mission to create career opportunities for women. Its 9-person Talent Acquisition team is hiring a Recruiter or Talent Acquisition Specialist to run full-cycle recruiting, deliver a great candidate experience and support high-volume hiring with smarter processes and AI automation. The role is remote, reports to the Talent Acquisition Manager and is paid $1,575 plus bonuses and increases every 6 months.

Key responsibilities

• Run the full pipeline for Executive Assistant and Recruiting Coordinator roles, from job post through screening, interviews and assessments to offer and pre-onboarding.
• Share clear, regular updates with candidates and keep the team informed through async and live channels.
• Keep the ATS and other tools accurate and up to date.
• Improve candidate experience at every touchpoint and use recruiting data and feedback to find bottlenecks and test improvements.
• Use AI and automation to cut repetitive tasks and free up capacity.
• Share ideas and help set strategy and priorities with the team.

Required profile

• 1+ year in a People role (Talent Acquisition, Training, People Operations, HR or employee experience); direct recruiting experience is not required.
• C1 or C2 English, able to keep up in fast-moving written and spoken conversation.
• Uses AI in daily work and has tried tools to improve workflows.
• Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced, remote, async-heavy environment.
• Typing speed of 40+ words per minute.
• At least 2 years of commitment in a company, regardless of title.

Schedule is 8-5 PM your time, weekends off and no overtime. Location is remote from Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Colombia, Peru, Paraguay or Ecuador. Hiring goes through application review, skill assessment, peer interview and final interview.
