Senior Agile Project Manager

About the role

Backbase is looking for a Senior Agile Project Manager to lead digital, consumer‑facing projects for commercial banking solutions. You will work in a hybrid setting in Guadalajara, collaborating closely with delivery teams to ensure valuable outcomes for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Drive delivery and execution of digital projects, identifying and removing bottlenecks quickly.
• Plan, schedule, monitor, and evaluate project progress while keeping all stakeholders informed.
• Prepare project estimations, proposals, and detailed plans in partnership with Customer Success leadership.
• Lead cross‑functional teams that include business analysts, UX designers, developers, and solution architects.
• Coach, support, and mentor team members to deliver high‑quality enterprise solutions.
• Balance fast‑paced delivery with team wellbeing, knowing when to push forward and when to pause.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years as a project manager.
• Proven experience in the banking industry and end‑to‑end web‑based project delivery (at least 3 projects).
• Strong client‑facing background in complex environments (3+ years).
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous, rapidly changing settings and collaborate across borders.
• Fluent English for global client interaction.
