Senior Android Quality Engineer (SDET)

About the role

Capgemini is looking for a Senior Android Quality Engineer (SDET) to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of enterprise mobile applications. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks while championing quality‑engineering best practices across the software development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated testing solutions for Android applications.
• Build and maintain UI automation using Espresso, Java, and Kotlin.
• Create automated test scripts for Jetpack Compose‑based apps.
• Enhance automation frameworks for scalability, maintainability, and performance.
• Collaborate with leadership and engineering teams to improve automation maturity.
• Drive consistency and quality‑engineering practices across multiple platforms.
• Support and optimise CI/CD pipelines and cloud‑based testing solutions.
• Evaluate, select, and implement testing tools and technologies.
• Analyse test results, defects, and quality metrics, and communicate findings.
• Develop and manage test data required for automation execution.

Required profile
