Senior Expense Audit & Compliance Analyst

About the role

The Senior Expense Audit & Compliance Analyst will ensure accurate and timely auditing of employee expenses and respond to compliance queries. Working closely with internal staff, Executive and Administrative Assistants, and senior leaders, the analyst safeguards adherence to the firm’s expense and reimbursement policies.

Key responsibilities

• Perform analytical audits to detect non‑compliance, unusual spending patterns, and potential fraud.
• Research discrepancies, determine corrective actions, and resolve issues.
• Manage workflow and task assignments for the audit team.
• Serve as the first escalation point for team queries and provide timely audit metrics to management.
• Communicate audit findings and recommendations to employees and senior partners.
• Prioritize time‑sensitive tasks and continuously improve review processes.
• Respond promptly to customer queries related to expense compliance.
