Senior Full Stack Engineer

About the role

Peek is looking for a senior full‑stack engineer who works AI‑first to design, build, and ship complex product features. You will own the full development lifecycle, from breaking down ambiguous problems to delivering production‑ready code in a remote‑first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and decompose ambiguous product problems into concrete tasks for AI agents and ship full‑stack features.
• Design, implement, and operate complex agent orchestration systems that deliver real product functionality.
• Create clean, consistent APIs and data models that are built to last.
• Use AI coding tools (Claude Code, Augment, etc.) to accelerate implementation while critically reviewing generated code.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to surface edge cases, fill spec gaps, and maintain high quality standards.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional development experience with Java and/or JavaScript and a proven record of shipping production systems.
• Strong backend fundamentals including API design, data modeling, SQL, service reliability, and production debugging.
• Daily use of AI coding tools in a production workflow and ability to evaluate AI‑generated code for logic, security, and maintainability.
• Clear communicator who can articulate technical choices, flag spec holes, and constructively disagree.
• Interest in functional programming languages such as Elixir as the stack expands.
