Senior Logistics Buyer

About the role

The Senior Logistics Buyer will lead strategic and tactical purchasing for vehicle flows, both land and overseas, managing a procurement budget of €150‑300 million per year. This role combines sourcing expertise with strong stakeholder collaboration to ensure high‑quality, cost‑effective transport solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Run RFQ/RFI processes for outbound transport across multiple vehicle families.
• Negotiate contracts with major and strategic suppliers to drive productivity, quality and cost savings.
• Develop and animate a supplier panel, fostering strategic and operational relationships.
• Perform quantitative analysis to support sourcing decisions and monitor supplier performance.
• Utilize digital sourcing tools and data‑visualisation platforms to enhance procurement efficiency.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in transport or purchasing sourcing.
• Proven project‑management and negotiation skills.
• Advanced English proficiency for supplier negotiations.
• Strong analytical mindset with a global vision and results‑oriented attitude.
