Senior Staff Solution Architect – Procurement Systems

About the role

Corning is seeking a Senior Staff Solution Architect to lead the transformation of its procurement and logistic execution systems. The role will shape the technical roadmap, align IT capabilities with Global Supply Management needs, and ensure seamless integration across the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, map, and prioritize IT capabilities for logistic execution and procurement systems.
• Develop and maintain technical roadmaps that align with enterprise architecture and business strategy.
• Lead vendor engagement, market trend analysis, and end‑of‑life transition planning.
• Oversee design, delivery, and support of solutions, ensuring compliance and quality standards.
• Manage a team of senior SAP analysts and coordinate external partners within a DevOps framework.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in supply‑chain IT, particularly with SAP environments.
• Proven leadership of technical teams and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Strong understanding of procurement, logistics, and global supply management processes.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
