Sheet Metal Operator

About the role

The Sheet Metal Operator will produce metallic parts and small sub‑assemblies for main aircraft assemblies at Airbus Helicopters in Querétaro. You will work with both manual and automated processes, ensuring high quality and traceability throughout production.

Key responsibilities

• Manufacture non‑complex and complex sheet‑metal components using appropriate jigs, tools and machinery.
• Perform rework on metallic parts and small assemblies as required.
• Carry out first‑level maintenance on equipment and tools.
• Conduct first‑level quality inspections to verify compliance with specifications.
• Maintain traceability records at every manufacturing stage.
• Follow all health, safety and environmental regulations.

Required profile

• Professional experience in metal fabrication or a related production environment.
• Commitment to integrity, compliance and safety standards.
• Ability to work accurately in a fast‑paced manufacturing setting.

Required skills

• Sheet metal fabrication (manual and automatic techniques).
• Jig setup and tool operation.
• Machinery operation for part production.
• First‑level maintenance of equipment.
• First‑level quality inspection.
