Software Automation Tester – Selenium & Python

About the role

We are looking for a Software Automation Tester to design and implement robust, scalable test automation frameworks for web, mobile and IoT applications. The role is based in our Guadalajara development centre and works closely with development and product teams to ensure high‑quality releases.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement automation frameworks using Selenium and Python for web, mobile and IoT platforms.
• Develop modular, reusable, data‑driven test suites with PyTest, unittest or Robot Framework.
• Automate mobile testing with Appium for Android and iOS, covering hybrid, native and webview scenarios.
• Create custom logging, HTML reports and dashboards to visualize test results.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and manage execution across environments.
• Perform API testing with Postman and REST Assured, including contract and integration tests.
• Execute performance tests using JMeter or Locust to identify bottlenecks.
• Implement cloud‑based test execution on BrowserStack, Sauce Labs or AWS Device Farm.
• Lead troubleshooting of test failures, conduct root‑cause analysis and support defect resolution.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate on test strategy and risk‑based planning.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in automation testing.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud‑based test execution platforms.
• Strong understanding of Agile development processes.
