Software Developer – Full-Stack & C++ (Hybrid, Mexico City)

About the role

Thales is looking for a Software Developer to join its Digital Identity & Security (DIS) team. You will design and implement solutions for both internal teams and global customers, working across multi‑layered web and standalone applications. The role blends low‑level C++ expertise with modern full‑stack development while promoting clean, pattern‑driven code.

Key responsibilities

• Build and ship high‑quality software components in an agile environment, from story refinement to production release.
• Translate complex requirements into well‑architected solutions following SOLID principles and established design patterns.
• Create proof‑of‑concepts to evaluate new technologies and validate architectural decisions early.
• Share technical expertise with peers and act as a bridge between engineering, stakeholders, and management.
• Lead technical discussions and oversee the full SDLC: requirements, design, implementation, testing, and release.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years of hands‑on development experience (academic projects, personal tools, open‑source contributions count).
• Strong algorithmic thinking and ability to choose appropriate data structures.
• Comfortable with the complete SDLC: analysis, architecture, implementation, code review, testing and release.
• Fluent in Spanish and English (B2 level or higher).
