Sr. Director, Mexico Country Head

About the role

Micron Technology is seeking a Sr. Director to serve as the Mexico Country Head. In this senior position you will lead Micron’s operations and strategic presence in Mexico, driving operational excellence, scalable growth, regulatory compliance, and alignment with global priorities while shaping an inclusive, high‑performing culture.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Mexico operations, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy, values, and governance.
• Drive performance across productivity, quality, employee engagement, and financial outcomes.
• Act as the primary escalation point between Mexico sites and global leadership.
• Represent Micron with federal, state, and local governments, industry groups, and academic partners.
• Lead executive‑level government engagement, partnerships, and grant activities.
• Serve as legal representative for Micron Semiconductor Mexico, ensuring regulatory and corporate compliance.
• Own site‑level financial stewardship, including budgets, CapEx, real estate, and facilities.
• Guide sustainable multi‑year site growth and support large‑scale hiring and onboarding in partnership with HR and Talent Acquisition.

Required profile

• Senior leadership experience in complex, global, matrixed organizations.
• Proven ability to support a matrix engineering organization while balancing local and global priorities.
• Strong background in operations, engineering, manufacturing, or site leadership with executive credibility.
• Experience leading teams in Mexico; bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
• Executive‑level government and external stakeholder engagement experience.
• Track record of leading rapid growth, transformation, and large‑scale operations.
• Strong financial, compliance, and regulatory knowledge.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management across cultures.
