Tax & Accounting Manager

About the role

Sanhua, a global HVAC&R manufacturer, is seeking a Tax & Accounting Manager for its industrial park in Saltillo, Mexico. The role will lead tax strategy, compliance, and risk management to support the company’s growth and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute tax strategies that optimize the company’s tax position while ensuring full compliance with Mexican tax laws.
• Oversee federal, state, and local tax obligations, guaranteeing accurate and timely filing of returns, payments, and reports.
• Analyze the tax impact of business transactions, investments, and operational activities, providing strategic recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align business decisions with tax strategy and compliance requirements.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate tax risks through effective controls, policies, and procedures.
• Act as the primary liaison with tax authorities, managing audits, inquiries, negotiations, and dispute resolution.
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and regulations, proactively assessing their impact and implementing necessary actions.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Taxation, Tax Law, or a related discipline.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
• Extensive experience in corporate taxation, tax compliance, and tax planning.
• Proven track record managing tax audits and interacting with tax authorities.
• Strong knowledge of Mexican tax legislation, corporate income tax, and VAT.
