Technical Project Manager, HR Operations

About the role

Our People Operations team is growing — and we’re looking for a Technical Project Manager who thrives at the intersection of HR systems, cross‑functional collaboration, and operational excellence. You’ll own the end‑to‑end delivery of HR technology and process projects, keeping complex initiatives on track and ensuring the right people have the right information at the right time.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of HR technology projects such as HRIS implementations, system integrations, and process automation.
• Serve as the connective tissue between People Ops, Finance, Legal, IT, and external vendors, translating business needs into clear technical requirements.
• Build and maintain project plans, status updates, risk logs, and stakeholder communications.
• Partner with the People Operations and Systems team to manage configuration, testing, and rollout of new tools and workflows.
• Drive process documentation and change‑management efforts to ensure sustainable adoption across the organization.
• Identify gaps and inefficiencies in current HR operations and proactively propose solutions leveraging automation and AI.

Required profile

• 4–6 years of project‑management experience, with at least 2 years in an HR or People Operations context.
• Hands‑on experience with HRIS platforms such as UKG Pro or Workday.
• Strong command of project‑management frameworks and methodologies.
• Comfort navigating ambiguity in a fast‑paced, scaling environment.
• Excellent communication skills to translate technical complexity for non‑technical audiences.
• PMP, CAPM, or equivalent certification is a plus.
