Trim Engineer – Entry Level

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Trim Engineer to join our Tech Center in Queretaro. The role focuses on developing and supporting seat trim covers for vehicle interiors, ensuring quality, safety and compliance with material specifications. This is an entry‑level position suitable for recent graduates with a technical background.

Key responsibilities

• Develop seat patterns and complete seat patterning tasks.
• Apply problem‑solving methodologies such as BEP, Kepner‑Tregoe or Six‑Sigma to address real‑world issues.
• Support manufacturing processes for trim covers, including operation of NC cutters and sewing machines.
• Maintain safety standards and ensure correct use of standard components in trim cover production.
• Interpret 2D component drawings and assist in converting them to 3D CAD models.
• Manage change orders and control Bill of Materials (BOM) throughout the development cycle.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align trim cover designs with vehicle environment requirements.

Required profile

• Technical degree in Engineering, Textiles, Industrial Design or related field.
• Preferably up to 1 year of relevant experience.
• Mid‑level proficiency in English (spoken).
• Willingness to work onsite in Queretaro and travel as needed.
