VP of Operations

About the role

Platzi is looking for a Vice President of Operations to partner with the CEO and drive the day‑to‑day execution of the business. You will be the operational backbone of a fast‑growing ed‑tech company that serves millions of learners across Latin America.

Key responsibilities

• Run company operations alongside the CEO, overseeing planning, business processes, KPI cadence, legal matters, and organizational architecture.
• Own the teams that keep Platzi running smoothly, including payroll and the Head of Operations.
• Ensure every team is accountable to clear metrics and push for the right talent at every level.
• Dive into details to uncover root causes, question assumptions, and eliminate ambiguity.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in technology or startup environments.
• Preferably a former founder or senior operator with a track record of scaling operations.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Based in Mexico City (CDMX) or Bogotá (BOG); remote work is supported.
• MBA welcomed but equivalent experience accepted.
